My mother and sisters and sisters-in-law tend to be scrapbookers. I go to the Scrapbooking Conferences to spend time with my family and I have been given more supplies than I care to count. I have accumulated more paper and paraphernalia than I care to admit.
Here’s the problem: I don’t like to scrapbook. Oh I have tried, and I made a few cute books and pages, but the emotional baggage that goes with it all (for personal reasons) far outweighs any desire to scrapbook.
So I am appealing to you all for ideas on how best to deplete my stash of scrapbooking stuff with the least collateral damage to people’s feelings. Should I box it up and offer it back to the people who gave it to me? Should I quietly find other routes for disposal? What are your ideas and opinions?
To give you an idea, I am talking about a bulging 4 x 2 x 6 cabinet and various other plastic storage drawers for paper and peripherals. Think the size of a queen size bed and you’d be about right.
So, a little help please?
